ACALYPHA wilkesiana  (A. tricolor) COPPER LEAF.  Shrub to 6 ft., from South Pacific islands.  Colorful leaves of green, bronze, red, orange and yellow.


ALLAMANDA cathartica  ALLAMANDA,  GOLDEN TRUMPET.  Shrubby vine with glossy green leaves, and large dark yellow flowers.

ALLAMANDA schotti  (A. nerifolia) BUSH ALLAMANDA.  Shrub to 5 ft.  Yellow flowers, slightly smaller than vine type.


ALSTROMERIA  LILY OF PERU.  2 ft., or more, with clusters of bright flowers, in many colors.


ANANAS  PINEAPPLE.  Edible & decorative varieties.


ANTHURIUM andreanum  TAIL FLOWER.  Showy, glossy bracts, in shades of red, white, pink, lavender and peach, around calla-like yellow flower spike.


ASPARAGUS sprengeri  ASPARAGUS FERN.  Bright green needle-like leaves and red berries.


BOUGAINVILLEA.  Vibrant bracts, in a wide array of colors, surround tiny white flowers.


CALADIUM bicolor  FANCY-LEAFED CALADIUM.  Large leaves with splotches and stripes in a variety of colors.


CAMELLIA.  Several varieties of shrubs, or small trees, with single or double flowers in many colors.


CARICA papaya  PAPAYA.  Tree with very large maple-like leaves, small inconspicuous flowers, and delicious fruit.  Bears young.


CLERODENDRUM thomsoniae BLEEDING HEART GLORYBOWER. Vining shrub, with dark green, ribbed leaves, and sprays of small red and white, or red and purple flowers.


CODIAEUM variegatum  CROTON.  Shrubs with glossy, brightly colored leaves, in various shades and shapes.


COFFEA arabica  COFFEE.  Shrub with shiny dark green leaves, small, fragrant, white flowers, and red berries containing two coffee beans.


CORDYLINE terminalis  HAWAIIAN TI PLANT.  Green, red, yellow, and variegated pointed leaves.


CRINUM  CRINUM LILLY.  Large strap-like leaves, with a tall flower spike.


CROSSANDRA  FIRECRACKER FLOWER.  Shrubby plant with tubular, salmon-red flowers.


CUPHEA hyssopifolia  MEXICAN HEATHER.  Small shrub with fern like leaves and small purple flowers.
